From the Family
Words from those he has walked with.
PIU has made me believe that serving God is always a way forward — not temporarily, but eternally. He has taught me how to keep to time and be conscious of it, and my prayer life has changed drastically: praying when it isn't convenient, and pushing myself to do more.
Moreover, one of his books, Character, is a whole lot. You might think you are doing yourself good, not knowing there are things you do in the sight of people that seem wrong or disrespectful. After reading that book I discovered a lot. I am not saying I disrespect people — I am telling the part of the book in a layman's understanding. Please purchase and read it.
Words can't express how much you have impacted me with the things of God, and of life as well. It is a whole lot, sir!
I always thank Almighty God for bringing you to our generation. You're a huge blessing. I love you, sir!
You and your family are yet to see God's blessings. Amen.
He has been a great teacher to me. Knowing him has been the best and boldest step I have taken, and I am glad I took that step.
PIU and his family are a big inspiration to me. His teachings have changed me completely — I can't remember who I used to be anymore. Thank you so much, sir.
My prayer life has taken a positive shift because of his teachings. Words can't explain what you have done for me.
Thank you so much, sir. I love you and your family, and I would love to have a home like yours — even better. Amen.
May God continue to bless you and your family greatly. Amen.
For me, I have a gazillion things to say. Pastor Ifeanyi Uwakwe has been more than a blessing to me. If for anything — he gave me an altar.
You see this thing about praying against attacks, witchcraft, breaking family patterns and all? I wouldn't have known about it if not for Pastor. And I know where my power reaches for that one. Once I encounter anything that is bigger than me, I leverage my pastor's altar.
When we had a crisis at home over my little nephew, I ran to my pastor's altar. Once an issue is bigger than me, I transfer it there and it becomes solved — no jokes. That altar carries weight.
Secondly, Pastor Ifeanyi Uwakwe gave me a father figure to look up to. My dad died in my teen years, and I would actually say I didn't really get a feel of what it was like to have one. But you see Pastor Ifeanyi? He's a phone call away. A word from him just does it. I have too many testimonies to be convinced otherwise. Even my family know that once I tell them my pastor said so — forget it, it is done. I believe his voice that much.
Third: with a pastor like him, I just know I can never marry nonsense. Where do I start from? Is it family life? I learnt a lot from his wife, even from a distance — how to care for and raise your children. I have two nephews and two nieces I bring to church, and when I look at Pastor Kachi Uwakwe I just copy and paste: how she talks to them, how she treats them, everything. Let me leave the etiquette part for when it's her birthday.
I learnt discipline from Pastor Ifeanyi. I learnt commitment. I learnt balance. If I lag in anything, I just imagine — if it were my pastor, what would he do?
To top it all, I will always say this: Truelight Glory House saved me. If not for that commission, I wouldn't have known where my life would have been, or what would have become of me. And yes, I say it loud and clear — my pastor is called. No doubt about that.
Happy 40th birthday to my pastor. God will truly bless you, sir!
